See whether you get "crawled" by Google
- Take the "tour" at: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tour/tour1.html
- At the end, sign up by signing in with your Google (blogger.com) account
- From the "dashboard", put the URL for your website in the box next to the "add site" button
- You'll immediately see some information about Google crawling your site
- Click on "See index stats" next to the phrase "Pages from your site *are* included in Google's index"
- Now, verify your site:
- Choose "add metatag" as your site verification method
- Copy the HTML that is presented (<meta name..>)
- Log into blogger.com
- Choose "Layout" and then "Edit HTML"
- Find the tag <head> near the top of the page
- On the next line below <head>, paste in your <meta name…> HTML
- Save your changes
- Back in the Google Webmaster Tools, click on "verify"
- Explore reports under "Statistics" and "Links"
