  • Zappos
  • Starbucks
  • Spirit Airlines

Look for blogs and websites that are NOT written by company employees. In other words, blogs and websites written by consumers expressing opinions about the companies

As a group, discuss the items below. Be prepared to discuss these with the rest of the class, time permitting.

  • What impact do these blogs/websites have on the perception of the brand?
  • Do you think most people who find these sites via a Google search understand that these are blogs/websites written by individuals?
  • Do you think these blogs/websites have more influence or less influence than other sources?
