Complete the LinkedIn Scavenger Hunt!
Pull out a piece of paper and complete all the activities below.
Activity One
Your profile on LinkedIn® is an online version of your resume. Fill out at least your education and any current/former jobs in your profile. Use the "Personal Sound Bite" that you created during class for your "Summary" in your profile. Decide what you want others to see by checking items in “public profile”. Create a custom Public Profile URL, if desired. On your sheet of paper, write the URL for your profile to complete this activity.
Activity Two
Who do you know on LinkedIn®? Find five people you know who already belong to LinkedIn®. Complete this activity by sending them an invitation to connect. On your sheet of paper, write down the names of your five connections.
Activity Three
How about looking for me? Search for me and complete this activity by sending me an invitation to connect to your network. Once you are connected, you can see my connections. On your sheet of paper, write down the name of one of my connections.
Activity Four
Complete this activity by finding a Senior Marketing Manager that graduated from the Kogod School of Business at American University in 2004. On your sheet of paper, write down the name of the Senior Marketing Manager.
